Greetings! My name is Kevin Fechtel. I’m a teacher from the United States. I’m 29 years old, finished my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Central Florida) in 2016, and have been teaching full-time for a number of years in English, music, and mathematics. I also have advanced TEFL certification, and speak intermediate-level Mandarin Chinese.I am married, have a 2-year-old daughter, and will have another daughter in a few weeks! We just moved to Japan in September 2022, so I still cannot speak Japanese. My wife speaks Japanese very well though, and is from China.I have also done a lot of math and music teaching work; teaching music in Siping, China and mathematics in Orlando, Florida. This goal cannot be reached instantly, but can be mimicked very early on. To reach the goal, we should have ‘natural learning’ as well. This means learning new words based on necessity, at the exact moment they need them, and remembering these words over time by hearing the teachers or other students.
